6 FREE TRANSFERS OF CUTANEOUS OR MYOCUTANEOUS FLAPS BY MICROVASCULAR ANASTOMOSES
Park Beyoung-Yun

Abstract
Using the microvascular surgery the author has experienced five cutaneous and one myocutaneous free flaps in five patients. There were three flaps based on dorsalis pedis artery, and one based on circumflex scapular artery, thoracodorsal artery, posterior circumflex humeral artery respectively.

In case 2, microstomia due to postburnscar contracture, mouth corners and cheeks were reconstructed successfully with large dorsalis depis free flaps including entire 1st web space bilaterally which is similar mouth corner in shape and in case 3, soft tissue defect due to excision of Ca. in mouth floor, the circumflex scapular vessels were anastomosed at mandibular angle to the transferred superficial temporal artery and vein which were almost dissected to the vertex which was 1.5mm, and 2.0mm in diameter respectively.

The author recommended scapular or deltoid region as new donor sites of cutaneous flap and transferred superficial or deltoid region as new donor sites of cutaneous flap and transferred superficial temporal artery and vein as recipient vessels especially in inadequate recipient artery and vein in head and neck reconstruction
